IPv6 Notation
IPv6 addresses can be written in abbreviated form. The rules are:
- Leading zeros in each group can be omitted
- A consecutive sequence of "0000" groups can be replaced by "::"
- Only one "::" is allowed per address
Example: 2001:0db8:0000:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334 can be abbreviated as
2001:db8::8a2e:370:7334
