Distill.io is an excellent tool if you need to track updates on a web page or the price of a specific product. It even lets you know when a page publishes recent news. All this through an intuitive interface that allows you to configure email alerts in its free version, and even smartphone or Slack notifications in paid versions.

What is Distill.io?
Distill offers very useful features if you constantly follow certain web pages for updates. It allows you to stay up-to-date easily, simply and consistently, as you can receive notifications as soon as any change occurs on the page you are monitoring. But isn’t it the same as Google Alerts?

Initially we thought so too, but it turns out that it is not. Distill has a very interesting particularity: it allows you to select a specific object within the web page for which you want to receive alerts. When that object changes, you will be notified, making it extremely useful in many cases, especially for finding deals.
How to Use Distill.io?
A quick example is to follow the publication of the Nvidia Titan X on Amazon and select its price. This way, you will receive a notification when the price varies, keeping you informed of possible offers.

As you can see, we can select the price to receive an email with the update every time it changes. This prevents you from being notified if the description changes or there is a change in the questions section.
Once the object has been selected and the verification interval configured, you can choose between the different available actions to receive alerts about the changes.
There are many options, but in the free version only email and local notifications through the browser are available. Paid versions offer much more actions, marked with a * in the selection.
